CMG Rescue Services follows the paper trail(er)
We received a call from one of our Milton Keynes customers, one of whose vehicles had overturned locally. Our team, armed with all the necessary equipment, arrived at the scene shortly afterwards, to find a tractor unit with a trailer laden with paper on both on their side right in the middle of a roundabout. We liaised with the Police, Fire and Highways departments, to assess the situation and decide on the best course of action. The first job was to remove the the unit from the trailer and right it. Then, using a new technique, the trailer was rigged and lifted clear of the paper load, which was left intact on the road. The trailer was then rotated and lowered down on to its wheels ready for recovery.

Once the trailer was removed, we used the tele-handler with ‘grab’ transfer the load and reload it into our customer's awaiting trailer. The road was now cleared and we could return home.
