CMG Rescue Services has been instrumental in the development and use of underlift equipment to ensure they cause no damage to the vehicle during the recovery procedure. The company has a fleet of heavy recovery vehicles all equipped with underlifts including long reach extending booms, sliding booms, winches and specialist auxiliary equipment. A specialist rotating crane unit is available for accident recovery, together with accident units and various specialist heavy recovery units, low loaders and air cushions are employed where needed. All recoveries are carried out within the legal requirements of C&U Regulations. All operators are trained to Institute of Vehicle Recovery VR Modular standards and have specialist understanding of the construction of trucks and coaches.
